for the past we days my team mates and i have manage to finish up making the part for our go kart project and here it is now the stub axles and the steering handle with it as well. work on the lathe and some drilling as well

after the work on the bmw i did some work on the lathe to make our stub axles for the steering part of the go kart

last time we help dave get his bmw to pass the wof test. we did a few work like changing the brake pads, the brake sensors, the belts and the spark plugs

go kart project

After the break we had work on our go kart and it is now almost complete with the chassis welding. With also the help of Dave he gave us an advice on how to put the front bumper of the chassis to the main frame. we also did the extra welding of the metal supports to hold the frame stronger

mig welding part 2

here is a little thing i did for my mig welding practice. its a little bit way off the corners but im getting the hang of it now

oh boy the go kart project is getting there we are almost near on our frame and the welding is going great

today we manage to do some welding bits on the frame and some angle re doing due being off and some bits on the angle bit is a little bit short and some are a little bit long so filling was applied.

for the pass day we manage to put up our go kart for this years project. managing the team is Martin with me , jason, zaw and casey. for the last day we manage to cut out the pieces and put them together on the floor. now we need to manage the angles to get the position of the front of the go kart right. it not easy making miss calculation were you think its close but still fun on trying and learning more new stuff about building a go kart.

yesterday with look up at some videos in youtube telling us how to do some mig welding and gas welding. its really helpful to gain early knowledge about it before we actually do it inside our work shop.,

for the rest of the weeks i did a lot we done welding by gas welding and also mig welding.
we also made some drill gauge and some of the thing like a helicoil

before the first aid we rebuilt the engine the we dismantle and now ready to be put on a car
